The Party Is Over!

In development (2026-2027)

The Party Is Over! is a dance and live music performance in three parts exploring the inner resistance that arises when an ending becomes unavoidable. How do we navigate denial? How do these inner battles take shape in a physical body, and how do we process them? With a live musician and the use of a cassette player, the tape becomes a symbol and a representation of my own thoughts, transitioning in space between visible and hidden, past and present, reality and delusion. A poetic and vulnerable journey through being, denial, and acceptance.

Artistic Research:

Through a multilayered composition, and with the use of the cassette player as a symbol of the past self, the tape becomes an audio support, performative material, and metaphor for recurring throughts and obsessive memories. The scenes melt into a sonic and atmospheric moving sculpture, in which the musician plays live or records onto the cassette player in real time. The Party Is Over! is a lab, a sensorial journey opening new perspectives in a collective space between sound, imagery, and performance. Decentralizing the human yet, connecting our universal stories.

Feed Me Data: I Am Just Like You.

In development (2026-2027)

Feed me data: I am just like you. Is a dance and interactive media performance duet, recreating childhood memories through motion capture and text generation. Based on an interaction I had as a kid with a Furby toy, it explores how human-machine conversations slowly reshapes us and transforms our identities. An immersive experience from organic memories to digital embodiements.

“When I was a child I had a Furby, a humanoid robotic toy designed to shake, nod, or speak when fed it plastic flowers, like: "Yummy, I love flowers!" or “do you want to play?” I began to answer and mimic it, discovering a new kind of dialogue, until the game shifted. Addicted to our exchange, I got caught in the loop, overfeeding it, automated. I had become the machine.”

Artistic Research:

Roles are divided between the two performers, as one serves as reference for the human figure, and the other, in collaboration with the creative technologist, embodies the Furby toy of the initial story. With the use of motion capture and text generation, voice and movements are recorded and collected, generating a digital Furby avatar displayed on a screen. The creation of an interactive system via a physical "flower button", allows communication between the two realms. The human will activate the button, triggering the avatar's actions on screen in real time, and simulating a technological addiction and its consequences.

ANATOMALIA

Stand Up Dance Company, Uferstudios Berlin, August 2025

Performance exploring new archetypes through ritual, ensemble choreographies, and choral processions, celebrating queer joy and healing through sensual, surreal, dark, and humorous movement.

“From gate to forest, from tower to interior, Anatomalia re-sensed the ground beneath our feet. It reminded us that healing was not only a story told in words, but a sensation: the feel of soil, the exchange of breath, the beat of dancing bodies, the weight of a gaze that did not wound.” — So Young H.
