My work spans interdisciplinary collaborations, site-specific performances, and movement research. In 2025, I began developing my own projects through conceptual performance pieces incorporating sound, visuals, and technology.
My artistic practice focuses on research and experimentation at the sensory, anatomical, and conceptual levels. I explore different states of the body through improvisation, attending both to somatic awareness and the performative dimension. I interrogate the source of movement: where it comes from, what it produces physically, and what ideas it reveals. Through this process, I aim to make the invisible visible, giving form to sensations, micro-gestures, and states of presence that are often imperceptible.
My artistic research explores the themes of memory, vulnerability, and points of rupture.
Eve Missio (FRA) is a contemporary dancer, performer, and choreographer based in Berlin. She graduated in France and completed her education at La Manufacture, before joining the Young Ballet of Aquitaine, where she performed with the company for one season. She later joined Elephant in the Black Box and DART, performing on stages across Europe including Spain, Hungary and Germany.
Active as a freelance dancer since 2021, she has collaborated with choreographers and companies such as Jérôme Bel, Berliner Ensemble, Animi Motus, Anne Retzlaff, and Meagan O’Shea, and has worked on a documentary film with ARTE-TV.
Alongside her dance career, she completed musical training and earned a diploma in music theory, shaping her artistic identity and supporting her interest in creating multidisciplinary works.
